There comes a time when God puts us in a bad situation and he wants to see how quickly we get out of it.
He wants to see how we react and how we face it. I guess being my first time in such a bad situation I can definitely say I'm not taking it so well.
I'm weak and most of all scared.
Who can I turn to??
I'm too young to get back on my feet so fast.

I know you make the choices to how you want your life to be like.
But let me ask you, how can you when your problems come right after each other??
It's like you're tied down and you can't break free.
The saying is definitely true when you say 'You never really realise what you've got until you've lost it' because it's happened to me..

How is it when you have faith in God you're still sometimes unsure if things will get better again?
How do we jump over such hurdles??
How does the world turn upside down in a second without you even realising it?
How do we fight to get a better life when everyone around you is also weak?
How do we stand up again??

What I've learnt is people are selfish and unfair.
You think that the people who should be there for you the most is not really going to be there..
When can you clearly say "We've got each other?" or "I'm there for you"... Cause honestly it doesn't really happen or maybe I've never really witnessed it.
People only really do care about themselves.

You can't trust anyone in life, Not even your own family.
That's just sad. So hurtful.
A life full of hurdles.
When can I get over one??
How hard do I have to try????
When there's nothing to hold on to...

This is a really hard time in my life. I just wanted to put my feelings into words. I put a lot of questions to make the readers think and hopefully they can relate to this.

Excellent work that questioned everything, and makes the reader examine everything in their own lives. There are just as may questions as there are answers in this subject thread. You are a talented artist that apperantly sees the flaws in yourself and therefore your work but I also sense a good sense of self assurance in your work. This is good. I browsed through your gallery and I have noticed that you have a wonderful perspective on things in your visual art and I look forward to seeing more. I also noticed that you looked up many of my friends on my page and from what I can tell with your selections you made excellent choices. I look forward to seeing more of your work. Excellent choice of graphic for the peice.

By the way,
I am Oliver

thanks so much.. you're comment made my day lol.. it's like when people compliment my work, it inspires me. I've only started writing so sometimes I'm not sure if I'm talented enough for it. I'm going through a really hard time in my life so I just express it through writing.

I've just recently started taking pictures and it's a good hobby.. I love your work too especially 'First leg', 'Measure and Wisdom' and 'The Search' it's so dramatic. You have such good choice of words and it's very expressive. Where do you get your inspiration from? Your work really stands out. Basically I love it =]

Thanks so much for your comment

Thankyou so very much for your compliment! You are only too kind, I assure you dear lady my choice of words are rarely worth remark and are oftenover gunned for the task at hand. Your Photography is wonderful I very much so enjoyed your vistas of the coast line. Departedheart made the remark to me today that she was very much so enamoured of the view.

I know a couple of other people who've gone through similar situations to yours, but after the initial shock, you know, you and Love really seem to be doing well, all things considered. I can imagine it's difficult to have to have experienced what you all did, but God will never abandon you, so just know that whether or not what happened was for the best, as long as you all stick together, everything will work itself out, yeah? And I'm here as well, so anytime I may be of service to thee, thou mayst beckon me, and I shall respond to thine call:XD:

As for the work itself, it's very honest and I'm glad you found somewhere to channel the emotions you went through. It feels better after you let it out, doesn't it?

I like how you wrote it in a way wherein other people outside your situation can also find some ground to connect with it. Everyone has their own hurdles, and sometimes we feel as if we've been abandoned ourselves. You were talking about your situation, but you broadened the perspective. Keep writing, yeah?

thanks, I'm glad you like it. It was my first piece and I was very much nervous that I wasn't making sense or readers wouldn't know where I was coming from. If you have any opinions or thoughts don't hesitate to tell me.
